Open a Guitar Pro file online
See the tab and hear it played with real guitar tones — right in your browser. Opens .gp, .gpx, .gp5, .gp4 and .gp3 files.
How it works
- Drop your Guitar Pro file on the box above, or choose it from your computer or phone.
- Pick a track, press Play, and slow it down or loop it while you learn it.
- Want to change it? Save it to RiffWright, Riffipedia's tab editor, and keep writing.
Questions
- How do I open a .gp file without Guitar Pro?
- Drop it on this page. It opens in your browser and plays back with recorded guitar tones — nothing to install.
- Which Guitar Pro versions does it open?
- Guitar Pro 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8: .gp3, .gp4, .gp5, .gpx and .gp files.
- Is my file uploaded?
- No. It's read on your device. It's only uploaded if you choose to save it to RiffWright.
- Can I edit the tab?
- Yes — save it to RiffWright, the tab editor built into Riffipedia, then change notes, add tracks and export .gp again.
- Does it work on a phone?
- Yes. Open the file from your phone's Files app and it plays the same way.
